What is it that motivates you to get up out of bed or makes you anxious to start your day? Do you love doing this so much that you would even do it for free?
Most of us don't have this passion; so don't feel bad if your mind draws a blank when I asked you those questions. Numerous people don't know what to do with their lives. Most of our life is spent searching for answers.
Believe it or not, many of us start the day lacking passion. We spend most of our day at a job we hate because of our micromanaged supervisors and stressful time constraints on projects. The last thing we need is a boss breathing down our neck all day.
If you are lucky, you only have a commute of half an hour to and from work, however some of us drive up to two hours. Getting up before the sun is up and leaving after the sun has already gone down is just one of the depressing aspects we have created thinking we have no other options. This is the way it is supposed to be. Don't question it, just do it!
Somehow we are taught at an early age that this is what life is about. This is why we exist. It is certainly easy to take pity upon yourself. Perhaps even moping around and waiting for your passion to hit you upside the head.
It seems as if we are told what we are supposed to do or expected to do certain tasks to better ourselves. For instance, getting an education because the old saying goes, you can't be anybody without an education, right?
I have two bachelor degrees from two different universities. I have worked countless jobs trying to work my way up to the top, because as you probably already know, education doesn't hold any water without work experience.
We all have responsibilities in life that tell us what we are expected to do. However, if we want to make our dream a reality, we have to treat it as if it were real.
